Music Ministries

Instrumental Opportunities:

There will be opportunities for those who play musical instruments to participate as soloists or to be a part of an ensemble.  If you would like to take part in worship this way, please contact Brad Krueger.

Chancel Choir:

The Chancel Choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m in the choir room and on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am to rehearse in the sanctuary. The choir will present an introit, anthem and benediction response in a ministry of music during worship.

Handbell Choir:

First Presbyterian has enjoyed the music of our handbell choir for 15 years.  It is a group of dedicated musicians who meet on a few Sunday mornings a monthfollowing worhship in the choir room.  Reading music is helpful in learning, but not always necessary.  If you have a desire to learn about bells or would just like to give it a try, please let us now!

Children's Choir:

This fall the children in Kindergarten through Second grades will participate in children's choir during First Hour on selected Sundays.  All childen K-5 will participate in our annual Christmas service.

Kristal Bells:

All children have the opportunity to play our color-coded bells

and enjoy many of their favorite hymns and songs!
